School / Daycare Orchard Experience

This event is for school and daycare children, ages 3 to 13. Your group will ride to the Apple orchard with our orchard manager, Kyle as he gives an apple lesson to the students. The hay-racks to the orchard load at the apple picking shed where children will receive their 1/4 peck bag. Family members can purchase additional 1 peck and 1/2 peck picking bags. In the orchard you and the children will see firsthand how apples grow. Our Vala's staff working in the orchard can answer any questions you may have. They know all about Apple growing, the importance of bees for pollination, how to pick apples, and other farm information. Each child will pick and take home a 1/4 peck bag of apples and a small pumpkin. Allow 1 hour for the orchard experience. The cost is $15.99 plus sales tax per child ages 3 to 13. Parents and students ages 14 and older are 14.99 plus sales tax per person. Prices include Admission, all attractions, live shows, and a coupon for $2.50 off a pumpkin.
